Food at the Wells Fargo Center

Wells Fargo Center, located in the center city area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,  and home to the NHL’s Flyers and NBA’s Sixers, has great food, dining, and drinks for fans of all ages inside and around the arena. Known for having some of the most raucous fans in the country, Wells Fargo Center is an exciting place to watch an NHL or NBA game.  People who are visiting the city can get a real feel for the area when they take in an event at the arena. The building opened in 1996 and is part of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, which also includes Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field. Citizens Bank Park is home to the Phillies and the Eagles play their home games at Lincoln Financial Field.  This brings fans to Flyers games starting in October and keeps the complex busy the rest of the fall, winter, and spring, and summer during the every sport season.

The food, drink, restaurants, and concessions inside the Wells Fargo Center for Flyers games and other arena events is part Philadelphia and part classic stadium menu.  The arena is always looking to bring in new food, so fans at Philadelphia Flyers games are in for a treat all season long when they come to watch a game.  Nachos, Federal Donuts, pizza, Italian ices, crab fries, and cheesesteak sandwiches are all on the arena menu at Broad Street.  If you do like a surprise when you visit the arena more than once, head to the Line Change stands on either concourse level, which has a menu that changes with each event.  The Wells Fargo Center has gone to totally cashless transactions, including mobile ordering from devices.  If you are in town and attending an event at the venue and only have cash, their are reverse ATMs you can use for making purchases.

If you’re at a Philadelphia Flyers game or attending any other event at the arena, there are certainly food and drinks that you have to try inside the Wells Fargo Center.  The Skyline Bar located on the Mezzanine Level of the venue has a lot of items that are favorites in the City of Brotherly Love.  Chickie and Pete’s is the spot for crab fries and Campo’s, one of the city’s main cheesesteak suppliers, are two spots to visit with friends at all of the events you attend. Whether it’s an early season Flyers or Sixers game in October, or a matchup heading into the playoffs, the quality of the food at Wells Fargo Center is always a priority for the arena management team.

No matter what day of the week it is, local restaurants and watering holes near Wells Fargo Center are ready for Philadelphia Flyers and Sixers fans heading to a hockey or basketball game.  Like at the arena, bar and restaurant seats fill up quickly so no matter what team you’re seeing, get to the area early if you’re going to grab a bite.  Many area hotels have great restaurants on location which can be a good choice before a game, whether you’re staying in the area near the venue or not.  Victory  Beer Hall, just a few steps away from the Wells Fargo Center, is a great place for a burger as well as pizza and other pre-game snacks. Broad Street Bullies Pub is also close by and has dozens of great menu choices.  Don’t forget to finish off every meal with the local favorite, Federal Donuts.
