Food at the United Center

The United Center, home of the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL, boasts a wide variety of food options for sports fans taking in a game.  The Chicago Blackhawks are one of the most storied teams in the league and food offered from the main concourse to the Lexus Club level is all top-notch cuisine.  Whether you’re seeing a Chicago Bulls or Chicago Blackhawks game, the menu has flavors for everyone.  Chicago is another city known for its food and specific local delicacies, including Chicago-style hot dogs and deep-dish pizza.  So be sure to come hungry to Bulls and Blackhawks games, you won’t regret it!

United Center Concession Stands

The United Center replaced old Chicago Stadium as the home of the Bulls and the Blackhawks in 1994 and has continually added and enhanced the menu offered at games.  Live music fans benefit from the great things to eat at the arena, too.  Whether it’s simple fare like pizza, burgers or fried chicken strips, or a twist on a corned beef Reuben with Swiss cheese and Russian dressing on rye bread, there’s a flavor to suit everyone’s palate.  Mrs. Levi’s Deli piles the corned beef high in combinations that are hard to resist and Chicago Dish offers the famous Chicago-style hot dogs with all the toppings.  Drinks and desserts can be found at plenty of locations around the arena, too, which always go well with a Chicago Blackhawks game. For fans sitting on the Lexus Club Level, there is the Chicago Stadium Club, open for live music events and games, which offers an upscale menu prepared by the in-house chef.

Classic Food at United Center

Food Near the United Center

Chicago has a great restaurant scene and if you want restaurants near United Center you need to go no further than Monroe Street or Madison Street.  No matter whether it’s regional rival Minnesota, or one of the other teams from the east or the west, nearby spots are a lot of fun on game night, but fill up quickly, so be prepared to make reservations or have options.  The Chicago, Illinois bars have quick snacks and signature cocktails, pizza with all sorts of toppings, and everything from nachos to spinach dip to satisfy hungry Bulls and Blackhawks fans. Within a few blocks of the arena, delicious dinner on the game night can be had at Eden, Bryanna’s Restaurant, or the Park Tavern, to name a few.  If you’re stopping just for drinks before a  Bulls or Blackhawks game, there are plenty of watering holes, too.  You can always stop in for dessert after an NHL or NBA game to top off the evening as well.  For fans who don’t need much rest, a lot of bars and eateries are open after the game.
