Food at the Honda Center

The Honda Center has been home to the Anaheim Ducks since 1993 and has hosted more than half a dozen other professional teams since it opened in June of that year.  Ducks games in Anaheim are a great place to meet up with family and friends any day of the week.  When you visit the arena, you are also doing a great service for the community as some of the proceeds benefit the local food pantry.  The arena, located at Douglass Road and Katella Ave has amazing food, dining, and drink options inside and around the area.  So if you are in town for business or on vacation, be sure to take in one of the games at the arena while you’re in Anaheim.

Honda Center Food & Concession Stands

The arena in Anaheim has three levels, all of which have a variety of food, drink, restaurants, and concessions for guests attending games or other events.  Choices on the Plaza level include Anaheim Pizza Company, CPK, The Classics, Burger Bistro, Outlaws Smokehouse, and Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. On the Club level, in addition to restaurants with table service, there is another stand for  The Classics where you can get hot dogs, chicken tenders, waffle fries, and cheese nachos.  On the Terrace Level in addition to The Classics, guests can find Express Eats, Sweet Sensation, Greatest Hits, and Anaheim Chile.  Depending on the day of the week, some places may run specials.  This goes for certain events, too.  Regardless of when you visit, your attendance will help the local food pantry.

Classic Food at Honda Center

The arena in Anaheim definitely has some classic foods native to the city and the area. If you’re at an Anaheim Ducks game, one thing to certainly try at the Honda Center is the smoked brisket, pulled pork, or pulled chicken sandwiches at Outlaws Smokehouse near section 224 on the Plaza level.  These tasty options pair well with beer and non-alcoholic beverages, too.  Another option that represents the city well is the combination spot of The Kitchen and the Go Mango Bar, which has a full bar for drinks and chef-inspired California fan favorites such as street tacos and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.

Food Near Honda Center

The local restaurants near Honda Center go out of their way to cater to folks heading to an Anaheim Ducks hockey game.  One restaurant to try when you visit is JT Schmid’s Restaurant and Brewery on Katella Ave. Also on Katella Ave is Roxy’z by Zov’s, which has a cool vibe.  One more restaurant to consider is the Jagerhaus, if you’re looking for German cuisine on the night of a game.   No matter which of the events you are headed to the arena for check the restaurant websites to see if they take reservations because they can fill up quickly, especially along Katella Ave, as it is so close to the venue.
