Food at the Gila River Arena
Located in the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona, Gila River Arena is the home of the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL’s Western Conference Central Division. Coyotes games have been played at the arena since 2003. The Coyotes became part of the Arizona sports landscape in 1996 when they moved from Winnipeg and changed their name from the Jets. Gila River Arena has hosted many other events including professional wrestling, UFC matches, and concerts by dozens of big-name performing artists including Tim McGraw, U2, Prince, and Bruce Springsteen. Local restaurants, like Brat Haus, which have outlets in the arena, have improved the food and beverage offerings in recent years.
